Mobile Compatibility

Are you Compatible or Optimized?

Have you ever gone to visit a website on your phone only to find it takes to long to load or you can’t easily find the information you are searching for? Most consumers have a pretty short attention span and will abandon your website. In fact, KISSmetrics through Google(2013) found that 61% of visitors will abandon a site that isn't mobile-friendly and 40% of consumers will abandon a web page that takes longer than three seconds to load. With that short attention span, your website must be top notch and optimized to ensure you are not losing potential clients.

How do you know if your website is optimized or compatible? You can either go here to get an easy answer from our experts or you can ask yourself some of the following questions. If your website will not show up on a mobile device at all- you are NOT compatible and are losing tons of potential clients.

  • Does your website fit the screen dimensions of the mobile device you are using?

  • Do you have big, easy to find buttons for quick contact if someone wants to call or email?

  • Does your video, photos and other media load quickly?

  • Is your site easy to navigate?

  • Is your sites information short and sweet? Similar to bullet points or quick tidbits?

If you answered yes to all of the above questions- congratulations! Your site is optimized for mobile usage. If you find that you have to pinch and zoom to read your information, or there is no clear buttons to simply contact your company- you are compatible with mobile, but are most likely losing potential clients due to difficult navigation.

Don’t worry- if you are not mobile compliant, this can be fixed! A separate mobile website can be built off of your current website without having to redo your entire site. If you are ready for a complete redesign, we will happily assist you in creating a visually appealing website compatible with PC’s, tablets and mobile phones.
